Built as a building within a building, the Data Centre is a dedicated, site-hardened and windowless structure with a high fire-rating. Facility access is controlled and monitored at all times. Closed-circuit cameras, biometric scanners, motion detectors and keycard access provide protection from potential human threats.
The main server rooms are kept separate from the mechanical rooms, electronic control units and Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) to enhance data safety. Trained and experienced technical staff monitor and maintain all systems for performance and availability 24/7.
The facility is completely climate controlled to ensure optimum temperature and humidity at all times. Multiple backup and storage options are available to ensure complete redundancy.
Redundant UPS systems are backed by three diesel-powered backup generators capable of operating unassisted for up to two weeks in the event of a power failure. In case of a disaster our Emergency Preparedness Centre can be activated at any time to ensure maintenance of service and quick recovery time.
